The pull-up is one of my favorite exercises, and for an abundance of reasons. Keep your weight balanced evenly, not leaning too far forward or too far back. As far as considerations go, money is obviously another big determining factor. Draw your heels down to the floor or keep a slight bend in your knees. This exercise targets the muscles of your glutes and hamstrings to create leaner, stronger legs, and a tighter, lifted rear.
Bend both knees, swing arms back, and drive off ground as high as possible.
No-Running Cardio Workout You Can Do at Home
While your garage or basement may seem like a perfect option, think about what this space is like through all seasons, as well as throughout the day. Jump from side to side as fast as possible, keeping your chest lifted and landing softly. With the holidays just around the corner, traveling, parties, shopping, and other seasonal outings may start to take over your schedule, leaving little time for the gym. Lower your body down by bending your knees until your thighs are parallel with the floor. Stand with your feet hip-width apart. Do 10 reps total, keeping your chest up the whole time. Pause in the up position, then lower your body back to the starting position.
